In Rememberance
Lancaster County joins its Republican neighbors in Northumberland County in mourning the loss of Rob Roy, an indefatigable worker for the Party who passed away Jan. 25. Rob was vice chairman of the Northumberland Party and a strong advocate of highway signs. Northumberland's roads had some of the best sign displays in the First District.
Rob's funeral service was Friday, Jan. 29 at St. Francis deSales in Kilmarnock. Friends may post sympathy notes on the Currie Funeral home website. (Click on the Northumberland Link on the Northern Neck Republicans website to access the Currie Funeral Home site.)
Lancaster also lost one of its stalwart members (and another sign advocate) Fred Ajootian, of White Stone, who passed away in early January. Friends may write to Marguerite Ajootian at 1935 Ocran Rd., White Stone, VA 22578.
